7 Link Building Strategy

There are five things you look for when you start trying to get links for your site:
High PageRank

High Traffic

High Relevance

High Linkabilty/Viral Content

High Authority

There are several linking strategies you should concentrate on to get quality links.

Submit your Site to Search Engines This is just good common sense! This is the first step to any good website, and will lend you support as you play out the different stages of your link building program.

List Your Site in Directories Use good sense and make sure you submit to directories manually and choose ones that are well suited to your niche. This is time consuming, but can be outsourced. Also submit your blog and RSS feed. Don’t forget DMOZ! They still carry weight in the search engine world.

Article Distribution Again, you can get this done for you if you wish - the best way is to write an article with several hyperlinks, and submit to various directories. Many directories will also allow you to interlink your articles. In some cases, you can offer free content with a link embedded with the requirement that the link back be given in order to post the content.

Blog Commenting This is a great way to build links. Even on a ‘no follow’ site, you will be building relationships and getting a reputation so people will link back to you. Some social sites allow do-follow links from your profile, and no-follow links in your sig.

Review and Answer Questions Yahoo Answers and similar sites need authorities on different subjects. Again, this is a reputation builder! You can also write reviews and post them to different sites, or ask noted sites to review your blog.

Build a Squidoo Lens The PageRank you can get from Squidoo is amazing. You can also do a Wiki, establish profiles on social sites and start different blogs on different hosts - Blogspot, Wordpress, etc.

Press Releases These can get you widespread attention and valuable back links from respected sites that pick up and carry your release. These encourage visibility, and are a perfect vehicle for link bait.

This is just a basic overview of the things you should be having done to your site to ensure the best backlinks. Make sure, if you hire your link building out, that you use a company that will provide you with a complete report of what they have done.

how you forget social bookmarking. it is the best way to increse fastest traffic.

i don't think so that blog comment is useful in seo work. ill try before and i don't get any result.

Yeah i agree with delon...it proves less resultant, i think Directory submissions and bookmarking testifies more useful....

When I say blog comment it does not mean spamming blogs with comment. Its about finding niche blogs with good PageRank blog page and giving genuine comment on them. That has lot of SEO value.

i agree... When you do blogcommenting, be sure that you're comment does makes sense and is relevant to the topic itself...

And niches are relevant as well to your page..

I think social bookmarking is still the most effective way to get traffic, and Link exchange to a high PR websites and linking to authority website is more valuable than having a hundred links to a Low ranking sites..
